I've tried my best to merge together my passion for music production and software development, and ended up starting two businesses that feed each other. On one hand, we're a medium-size record label that creates music to license to the spirit industry. On the other hand, we're a software company that has a music-making website. Both sides create jobs and make people happy!
It wasn't until 4 years after collegiate cheer that the idea for CheerSounds really came about. Cheer music was a chop-shop of downloaded mp3s being made by cheer coaches. In my head, I knew it could become real music, and I knew it could be legitimate all without losing the flair that made it Cheer Music. My passion took over; I assembled a team to start creating the music, developing the music-making website, and we began addressing copyright compliance issues to mitigate risk in the industry that we wanted to see flourish. It only took a few years for people to start appreciating unique content, and the rest is history. If you're reading this, I thank you for your interest and support in CheerSounds!
