BBB Accreditation Update

Between 2010 and January 2014, CheerSounds was BBB Accredited with a rating of A- and no negative reviews. However, when the business was relocated from Florida to  New York, we did not keep up with our BBB Accreditation for the following reasons:

1. BBB’s system is surprisingly antiquated and does not support migrating their accounts from one region to another. Therefore, our BBB reputation in the SouthEast would not be transferred to the NorthEast, and we would have to start over again.
2. Most of our customers have no idea what the BBB is. CheerSounds’ site sported the badging on our website for 2 years and under 0.01% of  visitors checked our accreditation during that time period, making it a wasteful investment.

We like the BBB, it just doesn’t seem worth it to spend a chunk of change each year to keep up with something that doesn’t help even a fraction of our customers.

So, if you saw the BBB logo on some of our print media got upset when you saw the BBB says we are not accredited, please understand that it was printed before we decided to let the accreditation go.
