The Empire State
CheerSounds Family Trip! We packed our cars, vans, equipment and luggage and have relocated our business to New York! The new workplace is 3x the size and is surrounded by so many amazing vocal artists and musicians! It took about 2 months to complete the new studio build, with shiny new recording rooms and a large open area for collaboration. New York’s energy is throbbing with creativity, and we are very excited to incorporate all of the new local talent into our cheer mixes, sound-alikes and other musical products.
And Yes, the Pizza, Chinese food and Bagels are awesome!!

BBB Accreditation Update
Between 2010 and January 2014, CheerSounds was BBB Accredited with a rating of A- and no negative reviews. However, when the business was relocated from Florida to New York, we did not keep up with our BBB Accreditation for the following reasons:
- BBB’s system is surprisingly antiquated and does not support migrating their accounts from one region to another. Therefore, our BBB reputation in the SouthEast would not be transferred to the NorthEast, and we would have to start over again.
- Most of our customers have no idea what the BBB is. CheerSounds’ site sported the badging on our website for 2 years and under 0.01% of visitors checked our accreditation during that time period, making it a wasteful investment.
We like the BBB, it just doesn’t seem worth it to spend a chunk of change each year to keep up with something that doesn’t help even a fraction of our customers.
So, if you saw the BBB logo on some of our print media got upset when you saw the BBB says we are not accredited, please understand that it was printed before we decided to let the accreditation go.

CheerSounds Launches Legal Premade Cheer Music Store
CheerSounds Music and Training, LLC is a cheerleading music production company that is becoming known for taking cheerleading music out of the underground market and into the public eye. Cheerleading music, once riddled with copyright infringment, can now be legally sold and distributed through CheerSounds’ online store. The first and only of its kind, CheerSounds’ cheer music store contains 100% licensed music products.

Once an underground industry, cheerleading music is a unique mix of songs, energetic beats, sassy voice overs and sound effects. Known as cheer mixes, these music tracks are purchased by cheer teams of all ages and skill levels world-wide, including schools, camps and private gyms. However, many cheer music mixes often featured popular music recordings without the appropriate licensing, putting the cheer music producers and the consumers at risk. Because of this unauthorized activity, cheerleading music was an underground market for over a decade.
CheerSounds, a music production company founded in 2010, identified this problem early on and spent most of their attention and capital developing a solution. The result of this effort is known as CheerSounds Express, an online store that features licensed cheerleading music, complete ownership of the audio recordings, and full compliance with public performance and mechanical licensing. This means that for the first time in the spirit industry, cheerleading music can be offered to the public in a legal manner.
The music tracks on CheerSounds Express are known as Premade Cheer Mixes – compilations of different audio segments that accompany a cheerleading routine – available at an attractive price compared to the underground versions of this music. In addition to licensed cheerleading music, CheerSounds’ premade cheerleading mixes can be customized with voice overs, sound effects and other team personalization, providing additional value to the customer.
CheerSounds says removing the legal burden from cheerleading music creates many opportunities for future products and future business.
